Use these four fat-burning ingredients to make your meal replacement shakes more effective in eliminating excess weight!

The Four Ingredients to Add to Your Homemade Meal Replacement Shakes
The fundamental problem with weight loss programs is they are not based on how fat is burned. They do not mention the hormone-food connection. In this short article, I will discuss the four ingredients I believe burn fat more than any others and make up the best weight loss meal replacement shakes or meal replacement products.
1. Eggs
The first ingredient is an egg. Eggs are perfect because they are protein-rich as well as nutrient-rich.
Protein activates fat-burning hormones, such as the growth hormone. In powder form, egg white powder is an exceptionally good fat-burning trigger because it is low in carbohydrates but rich in essential nutrients. It’s superior to soy and whey protein powders.
Soy can act like estrogen, which is a fat-promoting hormone. Soy gained popularity largely because Asians eat it and are thinner and healthier than Americans, but this logic is faulty. In their traditional diets, Asians rarely consume as much soy as Americans, and they don’t eat soy as a protein powder, which is highly processed and hard to digest.
Traditional Asian diets include small amounts of unprocessed soy foods that are fermented and easily digested.
Grass-fed whey protein, which comes from cow’s milk, is also highly processed and is most often made using heat. Whey naturally contains cholesterol, and when exposed to heat, it oxidizes, somewhat like butter that becomes rancid if it isn’t refrigerated.
Oxidized cholesterol is not a healthy thing to eat because this form of cholesterol is not found in nature, and our bodies are not equipped to deal with it. So if you find weight loss meal replacement shakes using whey, then make sure there is no oxidized cholesterol.
Some whey protein “isolates” contain no oxidized cholesterol, but this form is still highly processed and refined. I believe when you alter the natural structure of food in this way, you create imbalances because your body simply doesn’t know how to utilize foreign substances.
2. Spirulina
The second food is spirulina.
Spirulina has massive benefits, is a blue-green algae that grows in freshwater lakes and ponds, and it’s a nutritional powerhouse. In addition to being loaded with vitamins A and E, iron, potassium, and calcium, it has essential fats and high-quality plant-based protein that are easy to digest and effective for long-term weight loss.
Spirulina is packed with amino acids that activate fat burning, such as arginine, and is superior to the grams of protein found in red meat or soy. By giving your body concentrated nutrients, spirulina helps to ward off cravings and hunger and enhances overall health.
You can learn more about spirulina here.

3. Flaxseed
The third one is flaxseed.
Flaxseed is a leading plant source of healthy omega-3 fats, fiber, essential vitamins and minerals, and some protein. Its nutrient-dense fats make you feel satisfied for longer periods of time and keep your body healthy. The grams of fiber in flaxseed also helps to keep you regular, an important part of losing weight and keeping it off. Most meal replacement shakes never add healthy ingredients. Instead, their weight loss diet shakes are filled with grams of sugar and artificial flavors.
4. Kale
Lastly, there is kale!
Kale is a cruciferous vegetable, in the same family as Brussels sprouts and broccoli. Kale is one of the healthiest foods you can eat because it contains massive amounts of concentrated nutrients, including vitamins A, K, and C, potassium, and calcium.
It also contains tons of phytonutrients, plant factors with special health-promoting properties that correct a slow metabolism so you can burn resistive belly fat.
I personally found kale by accident in my 40s. After developing an online analyzer that measures nutrients in various foods, I kept noticing that kale was always at the top of the list for the most nutrients. I started to eat it and noticed huge changes in my own personal energy and vitality.
Making the Best Meal Replacement Shakes Delicious and Healthy
Over the past six months, I have been working on developing a way of combining these four foods and, of course, making it taste delicious. I wanted to find better ingredients than most meal replacement shakes for weight loss and avoid the sugar, hidden MSG, and cheap protein powder.
I used two artificial sweeteners, stevia, and erythritol, in my meal replacement drinks because they are natural, zero-calorie sweeteners and then added cocoa powder for a great taste. Simply add water or almond milk and stir or blend.
For maximum fat-burning, add 1 scoop of Instant Kale Shake powder to 8 ounces of water and stir. If you prefer a richer taste, add unflavored almond milk instead of water. This is indeed one of my go-to weight loss meal replacement shakes.
What I Talked About in the Video
For further information about meal replacement shakes, here’s the transcription of my video. You can also watch and listen to the video if that’s more convenient for you.
In this short video, I want to talk about the four foods I feel are the most powerful foods that trigger fat-burning hormones. I think most fat-burning programs don’t talk about the hormone triggering of fat — they’re more like, “Cut calories. Portion control.” But as you age, you have to start looking at the relationship between hormones and certain foods, especially the fat-burning foods.
Number one: eggs. Why eggs? Because it’s such a complete food. It has every single nutrient your body needs. You can pretty much live on eggs if you want because they have a dense protein that allows you to trigger the fat-burning process.
So, eggs are at the top of the list because they also do not contain hardly any carbs. They’re a great protein food.
Number two: we have this thing called spirulina. I don’t know if you’ve heard about it, but you’re going to hear a lot about it. It’s a sea vegetable. This stuff has 60% protein.
That’s more protein per weight than red meat. It has 94 trace minerals and elements. It has b12 and all the vitamins, so it’s a great way to trigger the fat-burning process. Spirulina is a vegetarian protein as well.
Number three: we also have flaxseed. What’s so special about flaxseed? Flaxseed actually has a lot of protein. It has all nine amino acids so it triggers the fat-burning hormone called growth hormone because it has arginine.
Growth hormone is the anti-aging and main fat-burning hormone. It also has something else — omega-3 fatty acids. What does that do? It feeds the mitochondria, which are the powerhouses of metabolism. Your metabolic rate is controlled by hormones, but all the metabolism occurs in your mitochondria.
The structure of your mitochondria is made by omega-3 fatty acids. So, this restores the raw material to restore a good metabolism as compared to burning out.
Number four: lastly, my favorite is kale. Now, the kale I have right here has been growing in my backyard. It survived the entire winter. Kale is probably the most nutrient-dense food on the planet, other than parsley. But of course, you can’t eat a lot of parsley. It’s kind of strong. Kale has a lot of vitamin A, potassium, and calcium.
Follow the principle of getting healthy to lose weight, not lose weight to get healthy. But, consuming this will get rid of cravings; it will satisfy your body, and it will also prevent the storage of fat because of the potassium and the blood sugar situation.
So, we have egg, flax, spirulina, and kale — those are the four top ones. What I did in the last six months is I found out a way to combine them, powderize them, and make them into a shake. It’s called “Dr. Berg’s Instant Kale Shake”. It comes in mint flavor, if you like mint, and then in milk chocolate flavor, too.
The reason it took so long to make is because of, first of all, the taste. To try and make something taste good and have it healthy too, that’s been a challenge. I have had to fly out to the manufacturing company and spend the entire day to come up with the exact taste because this stuff tastes incredible.
You can even combine the mint with the milk chocolate. It has in here egg white without the hormones, organic kale leaf powder, spirulina, and flax, and it’s sweetened with two sweeteners, one is stevia and the other is erythritol. They’re basically zero glycemic on the index scale so they have no effect on blood sugar levels.
We basically have the ultimate fat burning, with the sweet but without the Fat Storing Hormone factor. Because in the presence of Fat Storing Hormone, you can’t burn fat, so it’s great to enhance the fat-burning process.
If you’re interested in something that’s convenient or something that’s fast, you can just add water, almond milk, or coconut milk, and it makes a wonderful shake. So, check it out!
With these four fat-burning ingredients, you will make your meal replacement shakes a great addition to your keto diet. You can use them alternately to make the meal plan more fun and mix them with other nutritious and ingredients for tasty weight loss shakes.
